Welcome to Imbabali Retreat & Venue. These Terms & Conditions outline the rules for using our property, facilities, and website. By making a booking, entering our property, or using our services, you agree to the conditions below.

1. General Booking Terms

The person making the booking accepts responsibility for ensuring all members of their group comply with these terms.
Babies under 2 years stay free.
Accommodation Rates:
- - Cottages (B&B): Adults R960 p.p. | Children (2–12) R672 p.p.
  - Cottages (Self-Catering): Adults R810 p.p. | Children (2–12) R567 p.p.
  - Wild Olive (B&B): Adults R1140 p.p. | Children (2–12) R798 p.p.
  - Wild Olive (Self-Catering): Adults R990 p.p. | Children (2–12) R693 p.p.
  - Grapevine House: R8100 per night
  - Camping. Max 4 people on site: Adults R180 p.p. | Children (2–12) R126 p.p.
  - Caravanning. Max 4 people on site: Adults R410 p.p. | Children (2–12) R287 p.p.

2. Check-In & Check-Out

Cottages/Rooms: Check-in 14:00–19:00 | Check-out 10:00
Camping: Check-in 12:00–19:00 | Check-out 11:00
Late arrivals must be arranged in advance.
Early check-in may incur the full room rate (subject to availability).

3. Deposits & Payments

A 50% deposit secures your booking (first pay, first serve). Balance is due 7 days before arrival.
A R500 breakage/key/cleaning deposit (per unit) is payable 48 hours before arrival (EFT only) and refunded within 3 business days after departure (bank details must be provided).
Bank charges for cash deposits will be deducted.
Cancellation Policy:
- 100% forfeited if cancelled within 14 days of arrival / No-shows
- 75% forfeited if cancelled 15–30 days prior
- No refunds for early departures or partial stays

4. Minimum Stay Requirements

2-night minimum if a public holiday falls on Friday or Monday
3-night minimum during peak periods

5. Accommodation & Facilities

No specific rooms or camping sites can be guaranteed.
No rooms will be made available for wedding/function guest use before check-in.
Linen is changed every 4th day for extended stays.
Accidental linen changes are charged: Single bed R250 | Double bed R350.
Restaurant operating hours: Breakfast 08:00–11:00, lunch & dinner available.
Conservation note: Please use water sparingly and be mindful of detergents/soaps.

6. Rules of Conduct

No parties, loud music, or visitors allowed. Imbabali is a tranquil retreat, not a party venue.
Silence after 22:00 is required.
No outside food/beverages in the restaurant, pool, or venue areas.
Glass items are not allowed in pool/dam areas.
Smoking only permitted outdoors. No candles, incense, or smoking indoors.
No fireworks, sky lanterns, or helium balloons.
Fires only in designated braai areas. Firewood available for purchase.
No quad bikes, motorbikes, or off-road vehicles. Max speed limit: 20 km/h.
No littering. Use bins provided.

7. Children & Pets

Children must always be under adult supervision.
Social dogs allowed with prior approval. Conditions:
- Must be vaccinated and tick/flea-protected
- Owners responsible for cleaning up after pets
- No aggression towards people/animals allowed
- No dogs in swimming pools

8. Liability & Disclaimer

All facilities are used at your own risk. Imbabali Retreat & Venue is not liable for injury, loss, theft, or damage to persons, vehicles, or belongings.
We cannot be held responsible for:
- Loadshedding / power cuts
- Poor cell phone/Wi-Fi signal
- Insects, mosquitoes, or natural farm conditions

By entering the property, guests agree to release Imbabali Retreat & Venue, its owners, staff, and affiliates from all liability.

9. Safety & Respect for Nature

Do not damage or remove trees, plants, or crops.
Respect wildlife and other guests. No shouting, screaming, or disruptive behaviour.
Guests causing damage or disturbance may be evicted without refund.
Discrimination, abuse, or rude behaviour will not be tolerated.

10. Additional Policies

Lost & found: Items not claimed within 30 days will be donated/disposed of.
All accommodation rates are subject to change without prior notice.
Right of admission is reserved.
Errors & Omissions Excepted (E&OE).

DISCLAIMER

By entering the property, Imbabali Retreat & Venue, I, for myself, my heirs, personal representatives or assigns, do so at my own risk and do hereby release, waive, discharge, indemnify and undertake not to sue Imbabali Retreat & Venue, and/or any affiliated Companies, their agents, members, officers, directors, employees, volunteers and representatives, who shall be absolved of any death, illness, injury, theft, loss or damage of any kind sustained by any person, vehicle or animal, in any manner whatsoever. I agree to adhere to the Terms & Conditions above.

I hereby knowingly renounce certain rights to which I would have been entitled. Children brought onto the property are done so in accordance with the above and under the consent and supervision of the adult whom they accompany.
